Previously was Head of Software Corporate and Investment Banking at Banc of America Securities, responsible for some of the firm's largest clients; Head of Investment Banking at Rutberg & Company, a highly respected wireless research boutique and ran Software and Internet Investment Banking at CIBC (and its predecessor Oppenheimer & Co., Inc.) Eric has for over 22 years led and executed M&A and capital-raising transactions for established companies such as AVID, CA, Adobe, Oracle, BEA Systems, Veritas, as well as scores of young, emerging vendors.

Bob headed Business to Business Internet and Software Research at Banc of America Securities and its predecessor Montgomery Securities. Bob authored a number of influential publication which brought unique insights into the impact of the internet within business and the economy. Sought out by major news organizations such as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, MSNBC, and Bloomberg, and recognized by the Wall Street Journal as Best on the Street Application Software Analyst in 2001, Bob maintained research coverage on over 50 companies throughout his career including key players such as Microsoft, Adobe, SAP and Oracle. Transaction experience includes financings and M&A for over 70 companies. Prior to BofA, Bob was with Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers and Neuberger Berman.

Steve brings perspective as a venture capitalist, senior operating executive and management consultant with over 20 years of technology sector focus. Steve was a Founder and Board Member of SegaSoft, Sega's cross-platform software subsidiary in the United States, and Managing Partner of Ignite Group, a VC firm backed by leading Asian-based technology companies. Steve has deep experience within the mobile, internet and media sectors as an investor, board member and operating executive. He has managed a variety of M&A and financing transactions for North American and Asian clients and provided management consulting services while with Booz Allen Hamilton and Stinson Venture Partners.

As a senior member of the Architect Partners team, Tom brings over 13 years of corporate advisory experience with Banc of America Securities, Montgomery Securities and Pacific Rim Partners. Tom's transaction experience includes buy and sell-side M&A advisory services, as well as lead managed IPO, follow-on equity offering, high- yield debt, and convertible debt transactions. Tom's industry experience includes the software, Internet, EMS, hardware, and distribution sectors. Prior to Architect Partners, Tom founded a company developing local search applications for web, social and mobile platforms.

Margaretha assisted with the formation of the firm and is responsible for financial research and analysis. Previously, Margaretha was an analyst at FL Advisors, a middle market M&A firm focused on the insurance services sector, and served as a corporate finance auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Margaretha received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2007 with a concentration in Finance, Accounting and French Studies from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business where she was a UC Regents' and Chancellor's Scholar.

Deepak is a summer intern at Architect Partners.  A junior at UC Berkeley double majoring in Bioengineering and Economics, Deepak has a strong interest in technology entrepreneurship and the business associated with it.  He has information technology experience at Tata Consultancy Services, one of the largest IT consulting companies in India, as well as M&A experience in the clean-tech sector, interning at Banyan Water, a water-services firm.  

Amanda is a summer intern at Architect Partners.  She is a rising senior at the University of Pennsylvania, double majoring in Economics and International Relations, with a minor in Healthcare Management and Biological Basis of Behavior. She has particular interest in the evolving nature of technology, and has previously interned at a middle-market private equity firm with a focus on M&A transaction research, as well as spent two years working with MBA students on various projects.
